sparkling Brut Rosé & Baked feta BRUSCHETTA

There’s something special about our Sparkling Brut. It’s delicate yet textured, with just the right amount of bubbles to coat your pallet. When pairing the Sparkling, you have to think about all the aspects of the wine. It’s a crisp and fruity wine with a perfect amount of acidity, which pairs great with salty foods. That’s why we’re trying our own spin on the viral baked feta dish, and making baked feta bruschetta!

If you’re on any social media, then you’ve probably seen the video of the delicious-looking baked feta pasta. Turns out, you can make this in more ways than one! We found a recipe for a baked feta dip, which we will be using as a bruschetta topping instead of a dip! The saltiness of the feta will balance the acidity of the Sparkling, making the wine seem more fruity and fresh! Taking a sip right after a good bite of the bruschetta will leave your taste buds refreshed and wanting more!

This recipe was so good, it is 100% worth the hype and very easy to make! It takes about 45 minutes to make and about 3 minutes to finish all of it. Just be sure to take a break in between bites to breathe and take a sip of your Sparkling. What makes this recipe so unique is that you can tweak it to your liking and it will still taste so amazing. 10 out of 10 recipe and goes great with the Brut!

Rosé & chicken lettuce wraps

If you haven’t tried our 2020 Rosé yet, I’m going to tell you with full confidence that you’re missing out. The tropical aromas paired with the beautiful peachy flavors make this the perfect spring wine. The bright acid of the Rosé pairs wonderfully with a light, yet flavorful chicken lettuce wrap.

Just think about biting into a crunchy lettuce wrap then washing it down with a gulp of chilled Rosé. Did your stomach just growl? Mine too. Asian foods are always amazing with a high acid wine, so these two are like a match made in Heaven.

It’s another simple recipe that is so delicious. This takes about 30 minutes from start to finish. The flavors in these are incredible and they enhance the fruitiness in the Rosé, so it’s a win-win all the way around. It’s one of those recipes where you have to close your eyes while you eat it - it’s that good.

Since this is such an easy recipe, its great as a quick snack dinner when you just need to throw something together. Just as long as you don’t forget the wine to go with it!

Russian River Pinot Noir & Honey baked ham

The Russian River Pinot Noir is in a class of its own. It is such a treat with the bright fruitiness and the soft smokey flavors. It’s almost like it was meant to be drank with a steaming honey baked ham. There are numerous perfect matches for a wine pairing, but this one is the one.

If you’re new to food and wine pairing, just know that you never want your food to overpower your wine. For example, you wouldn’t want to pair a big steak with a Pinot Gris, instead you would pair a Zinfandel to match the flavors of the steak. That’s why the honey baked ham and the Russian River Pinot Noir do so well together. They are on the same wavelength of flavor, and compliment each other rather than one taking the spotlight.

Let me tell you, this. was. amazing. I was worried that the sweetness from the honey and brown sugar was going to negatively affect the Pinot, but no. I couldn’t get enough of it. The fact that it was quick and easy made it that much better. Ham can sometimes seem intimidating to make because of how long it takes, but this only takes about an hour and a half! Sure, you’re still drooling by the time its done because of the wonderful aromas that fill your house, but the wait is so worth it. With a glass, or bottle, of Pinot, this one puts you to sleep.
