The Women of the Winery
It’s International Women’s Month and we’d like to celebrate the wonderful hardworking women on the Balletto Team. Although we should be celebrating women all the time, it’s great that women get an entire month of recognition. All of the efforts of our female Balletto staff do not do unnoticed. And quite frankly, the winery simply would not run as smoothly without them. We have 19 women on the Balletto staff and the majority of them take up executive positions as the boss ladies they are.
We asked 6 of our Balletto Women to give us their favorite wines so we could create a pack to dedicate to them! Their great taste has allowed a couple sneak peeks to wines that are usually only available to wine club members, now available for all consumers in this pack.
Terri Balletto is a Founder, Vice President and a Mother with a heart of gold. Her favorite wine is the Teresa's Unoaked Chardonnay, of course, as it was made just for her! We appreciate everything she does for the winery as she really treats all of us like family.
Ali Davignon has an important role as our enologist, so you can find her working hard in the lab or the cellar! She's the chemist behind the wine, and she does a great job! Ali's been with us for a few years as she started as a Harvest intern back in 2018! Her favorite Balletto wine is the Cider Ridge Chardonnay!
Vanessa is our assistant Tasting Room manager. Her confidence and knowledge makes her an incredible leader in the Tasting Room which allows your tastings to go so smoothly! She's been working with us for 7 years so if you've got a question about anything Balletto, she's probably go the answer! Her favorite wine is our Zinfandel!
Judy Polley has been our California Sales Manager for 18 years! Judy is a beloved member of the Balletto team as she's become a part of the family. Her favorite wine is the 2020 Rosé of Pinot Noir, as it describes her personality perfectly! Both are fun and lively and pair well with a great time!
Heather Mills is our sweetheart of a Wine Club Director! Like all others, she's been with us for quite a while, creating the best experiences for wine club members! Her favorite Balletto wine is the Emerson Block Pinot Noir, which her cat often helps herself to a few sips!
While only 6 of our amazing ladies were used to make up the Women of the Winery pack, we want to recognize all the women on the Balletto team. Their dedication to the family has gotten us to where we are now.
