Thank You for a Wonderful Year...
The year is nearing it's end, and you can tell just by looking out over the rolling hills at the changing color of the leaves on the vines.⠀⠀⠀
A lot of new things have come and gone this year at Balletto Vineyards...
Starting with a fabulous partnership with our neighbors at Laguna de Santa Rosa introducing brand new seasonal Bird Watching and Sustainability Hiking Expeditions on our property. With wildflowers in bloom and the sun shining, our inaugural Earth Day Weekend was also a success at Balletto Vineyards. At the heart of our mission to protect the land is our commitment to sustainable winemaking practices, something that's been part of our ethos since we started cultivating vineyards.
Next year, we hope to host even more fun events for your enjoyment.
Another not to forget day - when we treated our visitors to a pawsome walking tour around our expansive 200+ acre winery and vineyard for our Annual Dog Walk. Don't worry if you missed it this last year though - Balletto Vineyards is pet-friendly all year round! You and your furry friend can still swing by and enjoy our paw-some hospitality. Trust us, it'll be a doggone good time!
And who could fail to remember our bi-monthly Wine Club Pickup Parties, our yearly Wine Club BBQ and our Annual Harvest Party + Barrel Tasting Events which celebrate the season!
We shared true wine country hospitality this year by offering new wine tasting experiences too. Wine, food, music, comradery and entertainment - what more could you ask for?
Alongside all of these memorable events though, we also had quite a few brand new events as well!
We launched not one but two new event series here at the winery for everyone! Our Winery Hosted: Masterclass Series and our Local Tastemakers Series - both were a hit. GET READY FOR THESE TO GO BIG FOR 2024!
Our Winemaker Library Class with Anthony Beckman was sooo popular - that our newest Masterclass series will have one of our wine industry veterans giving valuable insights into various ins and outs of our vineyards and the sustainability process itself. Although: Keep your eyes peeled and corked for our next in the series this year, featuring Founder, John Balletto, telling our winery story and his family history of going from Farm To Winery.
Meanwhile, we were also proud to launch our new Local Tastemaker Series, featuring nearby artisans hosting an interactive workshop alongside our award-winning wines. Our most recognized event showcased Steven Curry and his succulent workshop, letting visitors take home their own personally designed mini-gardens that they created themselves - with glass in hand!
For those wanting to avoid classes after graduating school though (haha), we introduced our Balletto family to the most hilarious Comedy Nights, a night of wine, food, laughter and good vibes thanks to our new collaboration partners The Laugh Cellar.
Another new event weekend that we were pleased to be a part of was with our partners at Out in the Vineyard for Gay Wine Weekend. Balletto Vineyards and Chef Veronica Aiken hosted a fabulous group for a sustainable winemaker dinner to launch the festivities.
Though by far, the most amazing event this year has been our video collaboration with the SF Giants, which featured our very own Dream Field! Go team.
And then to mark the end of the year, we even had TWO never-before-seen and one-of-a-kind wine releases as well... Don’t forget to try and get your allocation of our new Botrytis wine, Noble B Chardonnay and our ten year sparkling, Five Plus Five Blanc De Noir.
There’s only so many bottles released, so if you are a wine club member, make sure to grab some while you still can!
But most important of all, we had the pleasure of your company these last eleven months. Without everyone who's visited the winery this last year, we wouldn't be half of what we are today.
Stick around this next year for January’s Futures Event and Winter Wineland, February’s Comedy Night, and top it all off with one of our most popular traditions - annual Barrel Tasting in March. However, even when there isn’t anything happening special at the winery, we still like seeing you. We invite you to stop in.
