Quick Bites:

Café des Croissants

Their fresh croissants are so fluffy, dense, and amazing. You will thank me later. -Caterina

Wild Flour Bread

Everything from their signature sticky bun, to cheese fougasse bread, to decadent scones baked fresh daily, this popular local’s spot is one that never disappoints. (PS: If you visit in the summer, be sure to wander through their garden on premise where one of the staff members wives picks vegetables and creates a lunch for everyone working that day.) -Caterina

Union Hotel’s Café

The Union Hotel in Occidental is known for their amazing Italian Dinners served in a warm family atmosphere with checkered table clothes and candles in Chianti bottles, but did you know they have a little café where you can pick up a fresh cup of coffee and warm homemade scone?  Well, they do, and they’re delicious! If you are staying in a VRBO, be sure to pick up some of Gianna’s wonderful granola too! -Terri

Muir’s Tea Room

Quaint, charming and unique with an English flare.  A nice local escape from a high-paced life. Their scones & pastries are delicious and their choices of tea and coffee abundant. ALSO, a great place to go for those vegetarians and vegans. – Victoria
